Anders Ahlborg is a Swedish Luthier living in Tumba 20 minutes south of Stockholm. He started his career as a professional classic guitarist and then ventured into lute and guitar building. 

Anders studied at the Gothenburg university of fine arts, majoring in classical guitar performance for Josef Holecek. He then continued to study for Thomas Müller Pering in Weimar taking a concert degree in the highest honor. 

After being captivated of the beauty of sound of the plucked instrument family Anders started to build lutes and guitars 2001. He has since then built around 100 concert instruments of the highest standard. 

Anders strive to capture the beauty of sound when building instruments. A responsive guitar that sings with a fundamental core. Coming from a professional concert career Anders know how important it is to deliver a guitar with a perfect setup. He also builds his guitars with a slightly elevated fretboard and frets that are a bit higher than the standard ones.
